He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Zonia Kobitz; his parents, Henry Kobitz and Agnes Kobitz; and his siblings, Henry Kobitz, Jr. and Clara Kobitz Lister.
He is survived by: his sons, George, Jr. (Suzanne) and Marty (Jennifer); his grandchildren, William, Harrison, Caroline, Skylar and Jayden; and his siblings, Fran Nonnemacher and Joseph Kobitz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
