He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Ernest and Ella Ernest; and his siblings, Phillip Ernest and Stacey Ernest. He is survived by: his wife Faye Buck Ernest; his daughters, Monica Lynn Ernest, Melanie Ernest Davis (Anthony) and Marsha Patrice Ernest; his brothers, Allen Ernest (Anna), Steven Ernest and Randy Ernest (Sandra); and his grandson Caleb Ja'dun.
