He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Cantrell Ranatza and Joseph Ranatza; and his brother Joseph Ranatza. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lapeyrouse Ranatza; his children, Gay Ranatza Mueller (Gary), Gail Ranatza Parker, Gary Ranatza (Lisa), Gene Ranatza (Cheryl) and Cheryl Walraven; his grandchildren, Brandon Parker, Kasey Austin, Gene Ryan Ranatza, Jacob Ranatza, Ashleigh Ranatza, Nicholas Ranatza, Grace Mosley and Chloe Ranatza; and his siblings, Teresa Ranatza, Rene Ranatza, Thelma Seghers, Milton "Boogie" Ranatza, Yvonne Gambino D'Arcy, Delores Parks and John King. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
