We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2023, at the age of 86, Francis Benedict of Covington, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph John Benedict, Sr. and Frances Louise Vincent Benedict; and his siblings, Carrie Benedict, Charles Benedict and Pvt.
He is survived by: his wife Richarda Ann Benedict; his children, Cynthia Benedict Franks, Mary Benedict Mills (Forrest, Jr.), Suzanne Benedict Brown (Dennis), Richard Joseph "Joey" Benedict (Michelle), Stephanie Benedict Rush (Randy) and Tina Benedict Deckwa; his grandchildren, Katherine Mills (Shelly), Steven Mills, Luciana "Lucia" Lazzaro Atkinson (Mike), Louis "Louie" Lazzaro (Tiffany), Dillon Drago, Derek Drago, Dominick Drago, Dalton Deckwa and Farrah Deckwa; his great grandchildren, Michael Atkinson, Alaina Atkinson, Matthew Atkinson, Skylar Lazzaro and Maddie Lazzaro; and his brother Robert "Bobby" M. J. Benedict. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
