She was predeceased by: her parents, Atwood Nathan Barker and Dorothy Christine Barker; and her grandparents, Frank, Tena Barker and O. L. McManus, Sr..
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Bankston Dirmann; her son-in-law Michael Dirmann; her grandchildren, Bailey Dirmann Morse (Ryan) and Barker Stephen Dirmann (Shannon); her former husbands, Richard Bankston, Jr. and Stanton Davis; her stepsons, Eric and Eron; her brother Davis; and her uncle Owen McManus, Sr. of New Orleans. She is also survived by cousins, extended family and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, and in keeping with her legacy of service, the family requests that donations be made in her name to the Fitzgerald Church Meal Ministry, the New Zion Baptist Church Lunch Ministry or the American Red Cross.
