Though Ernie Ray may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ernie Ray touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Moore; and his parents, Darlene Ruth Chaudoin Moore and Freeman Eldrew Moore. He is survived by: his sons, Ernie Moore, Chad Moore, Todd Moore and Adam Moore; his granddaughter Megan; and his siblings, Luciel Jackson, Letha Dayle Willie and Glenda Rogers.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the E. J. Fielding Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:45 PM at the Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery (2280 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433).
