He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Mary Sybil Sharp; his children, Roy Gene Sharp and Ernest Joseph Sharp, Jr.; his parents, Celia Amelia Galloway Sharp and Hardy Sharp; and his siblings, Norma Sharp Jenkins, Vesta Sharp, Catherine Sharp Rogers, Velma Sharp Brignac, Alberta Sharp Lamandra, Versie Sharp and Argle Sharp.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Sharp to be made to Animal Rescue.
