He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Schmidt and Helen Roubal Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Krider Schmidt; his children, Pamala and Eddie (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jessica, Justin (Leighann), Jared and Grace; his great grandchildren, Tanner, Taylor and Margaret; his daughter-in-law Jerilyn Schmidt; and his sisters, Doris Fink and Eleanor Kovach.
Due to COVID-19, there will be a Private Mass for immediate family held at noon on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Most Holy Trinity Church in Covington, LA. Due to the Current circumstances of COVID-19 masks are required to attend services.
