He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Pounds Jacobs; his parents, Fred Jacobs and Bernadine Jacobs; and his brother Larry Jacobs. He is survived by: his children, Ann Jacobs Holloway (Trip), Edward Sean Jacobs (Kelley) and Patrick Hershel Jacobs (Stephanie). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
