He is survived by: his wife Lilly Simmerly; his children, Stephen John Simmerly, Richelle Lajaunie (Bryan), Roxann Simmerly, Robin Simmerly and Marie Donham (Mike); his grandchildren, Frankie Broussard, Brittany Broussard, Mike Lirette, Nick Lirette, Ava Lajaunie, Mia Donham, Michael Donham, III and Major Donham; and his great grandchildren, Easton Broussard and Kass Broussard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
