With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorance Mejia of Covington, Louisiana, who passed away on March 29, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Rosa Yolima Cardona; his parents, Jesus "Chucho" Mejia of Mejia and Maria Peñalosa Goméz; and his siblings, Eucarpo Mejia Peñalosa, Aristal Mejia Peñalosa, Wilson Mejia Peñalosa and Maria Vilma Mejia Peñalosa.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Mejia (Janine), Catalina Mejia (Tom Flanagen), Susana Mejia (James Keith Bagley), Theresa Mejia (Steve Counas) and Hector Mejia (Veronica Sharp); his sisters, Maria Pubenza Mejia Peñalosa and Maria Foscarina Mejia Peñalosa; his grandchildren, Nicholas and Isabella Mejia; and his pet Tito.
