It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dixie Gail Nicholson in Covington, Louisiana, born in Neosho, Missouri, who passed away on September 17, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Gene Holler and Juanita Marie Penn Holler; her granddaughter Madison Nicholson; and her niece Tara Michelle Canales. She is survived by: her children, Wendy Libich Maranto (Jason) of Walker, LA, Jason D. Nicholson (Natalia) of San Antonio, TX and Jonathan Nicholson of Summit, MS; her sisters, Terry Jean Canales (Miguel) of Savanna, GA, Debra Louise Holler-Allen of Alaska and Anita G. Hensley of New Llano, LA; her cousin Gary Penn (Peggy) of Lampasa, TX; her boyfriend Tommy Williams; her grandchildren, Makenzie Nicholson, J. D. Nicholson, Alexis Nicholson, Hayden Maranto, Jaxon Nicholson, Kieran Nicholson, Lilian Maranto and Zaylee Nicholson; and her nephews, Shawn Hensley, Mark Hensley, Richard Whatley and Miguelito Canales. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
