With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cullom J. Swords (Covington, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on April 26, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cullom J. Swords, Sr. and Alice Rau Swords; and his children, Erica Swords and Michael "Mike" Hurd Swords, Sr. (Buster). He is survived by: his wife Gayle Hurd Swords; his children, Stephanie Swords, Kelly Swords, Wendy Swords Stouffer and Cullom S. Swords (Lisa); his grandchildren, Michael Swords (Nicole), Sara Fredericks, Ali Fredericks, Heather Stouffer Oliphint (Ben), Claire Stouffer Cowden (Seth), Logan Swords and Kyle Swords; and his daughter-in-law Ruby Crawford Swords.
