He is survived by: his wife Ann Morrisette Carter; his children, Karen Kelly (Charles) of New Orleans and David Scott Carter (Wanna) of San Diego, CA; and his sister Ann Carter Ensley of Covington. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
