She was predeceased by: her husband Clinton Ivan Cooper; and her parents, Rodney Schoenhardt and Kala Schoenhardt. She is survived by: her sons, William Lloyd Cooper and Scott Andrew Cooper; her siblings, Earl Schoenhardt and Roby Cruz; and her boyfriend Frank James. She is also survived by grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
