She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Kenneth Peters and Inez Carroll Peters; her husband Daniel "Webster" Owens, Sr.; and her siblings, Carroll, Freddie Peters, Melba Hollis and Doris Matthews.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel W. Owens, Jr. (Brenda) and Lil Cooper (Michael); her grandchildren, Jacob Owens, Sr. (Stacey), Courtney Guillot (Jordan), Jennifer Crow (Matt), Jason Cooper (Lydia) and Megan Cooper; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Jr., Jaxon Owens, Lucas Crow, Shiloh and Miles Cooper; and her siblings, Howard Peters, Christine Pasch, Motsie Shoemaker and Jo Daya.
