He was predeceased by: his son Jason E. McLain; his parents, Donice McLain and Marie Pearl McLain; and his siblings, Earl D. McLain, Troy McLain and Joann McLain.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn "Beth" Barker McLain; his daughter Amy E. McLain; and his sisters, Sharon M. Plaisance (Bob) and Karen M. Moore.
