She was predeceased by: her parents, Donnelly Smyth and Bertha Smyth; her husband Roy C. Merritt; and her siblings, Eula Stanford (Bill), Lue Wilson (Sam), Bren Smyth (Dorsie), Cecil Smyth, Ned Smyth and Hobert Smyth (Jean).
She is survived by: her daughter Cliffie Anderson (Conrad, Jr.) of Covington, Louisiana; her grandsons, Conrad Anderson IV (Alex) of Birmingham and Nicholas Anderson (Casey) of Madison, Mississippi; her great grandchildren, Lewis, Preston, Miller Anderson of Birmingham, Olivia and Sophie Anderson of Madison, Mississippi; her brothers, Jack Smyth (Joyce) of Plainfield and Bill Smyth (Zana) of Clay City, Kentucky.; and her stepchildren, Bucky Merritt of Vidalia, Louisiana and Alicia Yielding (Tim) of Vidalia, Louisiana. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
