It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Athalie Generes Macgowan (Covington, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on April 7, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Evander Macgowan; her parents, Anthony Percy Generes and Ruby Hill Generes; and her brother Robert A. Generes. She is survived by: her cousins, Joan Guidry Porter and John H. Guidry; her nieces, Shelby Macgowan St and Mary Macgowan Lousteau; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kadee St, Becky St, Jill St, Emily Gaudin Magee, Timothy St, Jonathan St and Andrew Gaudin. She is also survived by 19 great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
