He was predeceased by: his father Anthony John Matthews. He is survived by: his mother Sammie Jane Rapold Matthews; his daughter Sara Elizabeth Matthews Waldrop; and his sister Virginia Lea Matthews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bagnell & Son Funeral Home (75212 Lee Rd, Covington, LA 70435). A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
