He was predeceased by: his parents, James Canty and Louella Canty; and his siblings, Stephen Canty and Elisabeth Woolf (Canty). He is survived by: his brother Br. Tom; and his nieces, Margaret Canty, Carol Brants (Roger) and Deborah Ables (James). He is also survived by other relatives, and wonderful lifelong friends.
