It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Burton Gibson of Covington, Louisiana, born in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, who passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles D. Gibson and Annie Davis Gibson; and his brothers, Charles Davis Gibson and George Cinclair Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Laura Pusey Gibson; and his children, Barbara Gibson Dragg, Ellen Gibson Landry and Daniel Gibson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Manresa retreat center in Convent, LA, and St. Anselm Church.
