He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Joseph Tanguis and Lillian Ann Simoneaux Tanguis; and his sisters, Shirley Keanan and Elsie Poole. He is survived by: his wife Gaynell Ann Herbert Tanguis; his children, Alex Henry Tanguis, Jr. (Jennifer) and Geralyn Ann Tanguis Lusher (Keith); his brother Larry Jerry Tanguis (Diane); his grandchildren, Alexys Amber Tanguis, Lindsey Tanguis Necaise (Billy), Lauryn Jenna Tanguis, Tanner Henry Tanguis, Kasey Lynn Lusher, Alli Elizabeth Lusher and Maddie Ann Lusher; and his great grandchildren, Landen Patrick Necaise, Brelynn Layne Earles and Rylee Addison Pace.
