She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter B. Nichols and Patsy R. Short; and her son Nicholas D. Lalena. She is survived by: her daughter Amber Lalena (Brandon); her grandchildren, Hunter Brooks (Jamie), Caleb Lalena and Nicholas Claycomb; her great grandchild Parker Brooks; her siblings, Gregg Nichols, Debra Lindsey, Wiley Lindsey, Jr., Clifton Lindsey and Jennifer Nichols; and her stepmother Irene Nichols.
The family suggests memorials may be made to the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
