She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Perez; her parents, James Johnson and Marilyn Johnson; her brother-in-law Nubbin Giddings; and her nephew Pete Giddings.
She is survived by: her sister Brenda Giddings; her nieces, Trinity Hayes, Faith Morris and Tiara Hayes; and her siblings-in-law, Esther Harris, Philip Perez and Eddie Perez. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Zion Baptist Church (174 Grappes Bluff Rd, Coushatta, LA 71019). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
