She is survived by: her husband Jesse Bass of Coushatta, LA; her children, Brenda Cottom (Ed) of Bossier City, LA, Billy Dirks (Yvonnie) of Greenwood, LA and Terry Dirks of Ringgold, LA; and her grandchildren, Jason Cottom, Brittney Trahan, Amanda Powell and Hannah Dirks. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
