We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2020, at the age of 92, Melvin Harrison Stewart (Coushatta, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Stewart and Ora Bell Stewart; and his brothers, Walter Lee Stewart and J. D. Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Ruey Stewart; his children, Edith Stewart Braud (Henry), Lonnie M. Stewart (Peggy) and Stacy Bridges (Wayne); and his grandchildren, Alan Braud, Ashley Braud Stewart, Lindsey Bridges, Kara Bridges, Jennifer Bridges and Jamey Stewart. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
