He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wise and Maitland Wise; and his siblings, Nathan, Bo, Paul Wise and Mary Ann Wise Wiggins.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Butcher Wise; his children, Danielle Baxter (Micheal), Emily Cryer (Jeff), Wes Wise and Wade Wise (Adriana); his grandchildren, Samuel Baxter, Kimberly Davis, Sawyer Baxter, Dillon Baxter, Zach Cryer, Landry Cryer, Christian Wise, Elijah Wise and Benjamin Wise; and his siblings, Jacob Wise and Marjorie Clemons. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
