She was predeceased by: her mother Georgie Prestridge; and her brother Jack Russell Caples, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Russell Lane Carter; her sons, Jason Lane Carter and Justin DeVance Carter; her siblings, Robert Caples (Sandra) and Rhonda Bennett; and her grandchildren, Taylor Lane Carter, Jacob DeVance Carter, Amy Rebecca Carter, Jaci Diane Carter and Caden Joel Carter.
