She was predeceased by: her husband Jodie Bell Merrill; her son Arvin Jodie Merrill; her grandson Keith Howard Sisson; and her parents, Otis Ryals and Luddie Ryals.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Merrill (Mary) of Coushatta, LA, Billy Wayne Merrill (Linda) of Conroe, TX, Dorothy Gorman (Dale) of Murphy, NC and Jeanette Sisson (David) of Vicksburg, MS; and her daughter-in-law Nelva Ann Merrill of Marshall, TX. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
