She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Pleasant and Merle Irene Burks Johnston; her husbands, Jesse Edward "Buddy" Lockey, Jr. and Janks Bamburg; and her daughter-in-law Anita Pickett Lockey.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Lockey of Coushatta, Jimmy Lockey (Judy) of Coushatta and Sharon Lockey of Coushatta; her grandchildren, Heather Renee Powell (Will), Holly Marie Lockey, Leigh Ann Palmer, James E. Lockey (Nancy), Andrea Carol Foster (Dana), Cory Bamburg (Amy) and Adam Bamburg (Abby); and her grandson-in-law Daniel Palmer. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Unity Baptist Church (304 Humble Ave, Cotton Valley, LA 71018). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
