He was predeceased by: his parents, Peyton L. Bass, Sr. and Armalee Reed Bass; his former wife Shirley Bass Fry; his siblings, Robert Reed Bass and Barbara Jean Hamilton; his grandson Peyton Joseph Bass; and his nephews, Steve Hamilton and Sam Bass.
He is survived by: his children, Denny, Daryl Bass, Joni Bass and Jenni Bass Walker (Robert); his brothers, Billy Burton Bass and Peyton L. "June" Bass, Jr. (Monty); his grandchildren, Sydney Bass, Samantha Bass, Dawson Bass, Logan Bates, Jesseca Korn (Patrick), Ryan Tomerlin, Carson Walker, Avery Walker, Breanne Dupree (Kevin) and Chad Shirley (Kellie); and his nieces, Shelia, Shelly, Sharon, Deanna, Danielle and Susannah.
