Freeman; her children, Joy Ann Johns, Charles Roy Freeman, Hershell Lynn Freeman, Gary Wane Freeman and Marvin Louis Freeman; her parents, Thad Geter and Jettie Geter; and her siblings, Roy Geter, Charles Geter, Doris Alawine, Mildred Dowden, Renie Tyson, Annalee Armstrong and Margie Woodson.
She is survived by: her daughter Nelda Freeman Putek (James); her brother Thad "Bubba" Geter; and her great grandchildren, Riley Goodrow, Johnathan Goodrow, Aaron Freeman, Justin Freeman, Chadrick Freeman Jr., Chance Humphries, Jaden Salard and Jacob Manausa. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home (233 E Carroll St, Coushatta, LA 71019). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel (233 E Carroll St, Coushatta, LA 71019).
