He is survived by: his nieces, Sharon Teekell Smith (Ronnie Smith), Cynthia Teekell Jacobs (Dale Jacobs) and Charlene Teekell Locke (Ricky Locke); and his nephew Tracy Mel Teekell (Mary Teekell).
