She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lawrence and Mildred Walker Pierce; her husband G. W. Birdwell; her son Terry Mangham; her nephew Marty Joyner; and her brothers-in-law, Lawrence Johnson and Jim Joyner.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Mangham and Ken Mangham (Amy); her sisters, Liz Johnson and Vicki Joyner; her parents-in-law, Juanita Mangham, Bob and Lois Mangham; her grandsons, John Guffey, Jr., Adolphus Bamburg, William Myers, Steven Mangham and Kade Mangham; her nephews, Sean Joyner, Keith Johnson, Sandy Scott and Justin Bamburg; and also Frank Rose (John Wayne Hays). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
