He was predeceased by: his son Dr. Robert Gaddis; and his granddaughter Sarah. He is survived by: his wife Joy Stothart Gaddis; his children, Ellen Howell, Blanche Hirsch and Dr. Thomas Gaddis; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Abby, Mary Ellen, Jane, Stewart, Olivia, Danielle and Patrick. He is also survived by Many great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
With all of these many accomplishments and contributions to be proud of, his family is most grateful for the example he set as a man who wanted to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God.
