It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Buddy Ray Roberts (Coushatta, Louisiana), born in Natchitoches, Louisiana, who passed away on June 8, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Russell Roberts; his parents, Palmer Roberts, Sr. and Mildred Roberts; his siblings, Palmer Roberts, Jr. and Molly Roberts Emerson; and his brother-in-law Jack Burnett.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Sue Roberts; his children, Ryan Roberts (Haley) and Amanda Toyooka (Lee); his grandchildren, Allyson Roberts, Ethan Roberts, Conner Roberts, Aubree Roberts, Jaxson Toyooka and Beyer Toyooka; and his sisters, Mildred Crow (Billy), Joyce Burnett, Mary Mahloch (Jeff), Peggy Thomas and Juanita Longino (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
