He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dolphus and Ellie Mae of Hall Summit, LA; and his stepgrandson Michael Shaw of Shreveport, LA.. He is survived by: his wife Martha Gardner Gahagan of Coushatta, LA; his children, Joe Timothy Gahagan and Amanda Gahagan Crotwell; and his sister Doris Finnigan. He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
