He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Gauthier and Addie Gauthier. He is survived by: his wife Mary Kathleen Gremillion Gauthier of Cottonport; his children, Faye Gauthier Fontaine (James) of New Roads, Lauren Gauthier Ducote of Cottonport, Lydie Gauthier Landry (Thomas) of Youngsville and Ted Gauthier (Joylynn) of Cottonport; his sister Peggy Gauthier Bordelon of Fifth Ward; his grandchildren, Carrie Clements (Patrick), Lawrence Thevenot (Lauren), Emily Fontaine Sarullo, James Fontaine, Jr. (Jennifer), Danielle Worley (Chris), Adam Gauthier (Julie), Mary Kathleen Ducote, Ryan Landry, Camille Landry and Luke Landry; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Kasen Gauthier, Jules, Piper Jane, Charles Sarullo, Audrey Thevenot and James Fontaine, III.
