He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rogers and Martha Rogers; and his siblings, Martha Myrl Rogers, James L. Rogers, Joseph L. Rodgers, Jr., Paul E. Rodgers, Sr. and Floyd L. Rogers.
He is survived by: his daughters, Trina Annette Rogers-Preston (Richard) and Sherri Lynn Rogers-Hall (Jason); his wife Dorothy Ann Augustine Rogers; and his nephews, Lynn Alexander, Michael Alexander, Dr. Christopher Rogers, Derrick Rogers, Jesse Rogers and Columbus Smith.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Escude Funeral Home (552 Front St, Cottonport, LA 71327). A rosary was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (3645 Main St, Hessmer, LA 71341). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the St. Paul's Cemetery Little Cemetery.
