He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Gauthier and Loretta Briley Gauthier. He is survived by: his wife Tonya Comeaux Gauthier of Cottonport; his children, Alyce Bonnette (Andrew) of Cottonport and Zachary Gauthier (Regan) of Alexandria; his sisters, Theresa "Terri" Gauthier Gray and Patricia "Patty" Gauthier; and his granddaughters, Evelyn Bonnette and Hattie Bonnette.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the Escude Funeral Home (552 Front St, Cottonport, LA 71327). A prayer was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 6:30 PM and on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church (820 Front St, Cottonport, LA 71327).
