She was predeceased by: her son John Michael Jarreau; and her father James Dauzart, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Lee Couvillion; her mother Lucy Dauzart; her siblings, James Dauzart, Jr. (Tracy Pellering), Donna Arnouville (Kenneth) and Kim Rabalais; her stepchildren, Beau Couvillion and Naomi Dossett; her stepgrandchildren, Razoria Dossette, Carter Laborde and Anna Couvillion; and her stepgreat-grandchild Ranazmay Mayeaux. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
