He is survived by: his children, Lisa Meche (Joey) of Goudeau, Randy Gauthier of Cottonport, Vicky Gauthier of Cottonport, Bobby Gauthier of Cottonport and Huron Gauthier, Jr. (Casey) of Cottonport; his grandchildren, Ashley Foret (Lance), Casey Meche, Hailey Gauthier, Brooke Gauthier, Alexis Gauthier, Laekyn Stroud (Levi), Beau Gauthier, Kayleigh Madrigal (Christopher) and Tristen Gauthier; his great grandchildren, Elijah Foret, Kinley, Jacie, Parker, Landon Gauthier, Charlotte, Greyson Stroud, Jhett, Mila and Nolan; and his sister Linda Ducote of Hessmer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Escude Funeral Home (552 Front St, Cottonport, LA 71327). A Mass was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church (820 Front St, Cottonport, LA 71327). A burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary #2 Cemetery (498 Indian Bayou Rd, Cottonport, LA 71327).
