He was predeceased by: his wife Josette Callegari Thompson; his parents, Herbert E., Sr. and Adele Ducote Thompson; and his sister Ann Marie Thompson. He is survived by: his son Nickie John Thompson (Connie) of Cottonport; his granddaughter Candace Thompson Lee (DaMaryon) of Cottonport; his sister Mary Susan Thompson Epps of Pineville; his nieces, Kim, Amber, Dawn and Rebecca; his sister-in-law Simone Kramer (Steve) of Baton Rouge; and his niece Brittney.
