She was predeceased by: her son Ronald Fitzgerald; her husband Frederick Fitzgerald; her parents, Merlyn Ponthieux and Alice Lee Ferguson Ponthieux; and her siblings, Mary Alice Jeansonne, Carolann Dauzat, Winnie Daire Steele and Marshall Ponthier.
She is survived by: her children, Shelia Marchand (Arkie), Danny Fitzgerald, Aaron Carl Fitzgerald (Toni) and Chris Fitzgerald (Alina); her daughter-in-law Cindy Fitzgerald; her grandchildren, Brooke, Chad, Joshua, Amber, Conrad, Crystal, Ashley, Danielle, Sam, Jonah, Jacob, Alan and Austin; her great grandchildren, Kaiden, Logan, Everly, Skye of Derek, Annalise, Anna Claire, Jace Michael, Amelia, Ryder, Ella and Miles; and her siblings, Murray Ponthier, Sr., Mary Ruth Manny, James Pete Ponthier, Merlin "Boy" Ponthier, Jr., Honorary, Chad, Joshua, Conrad, Sam, Jonah, Jacob, Alan, Austin, Kaiden, Logan of Derek, Jace Michael, Ryder and Miles.
