With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertie Michel of Cottonport, Louisiana, who passed away on June 27, 2020 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gertie Michel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Huron Michel; and her parents, Roger Caldwell and Lillian Bonnette Caldwell. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Lacombe (Michael "Pea") of Cottonport, Sharon Chenevert (John) of Cottonport, Pamela Crawford (Randall) of Cottonport and Ricky Michel (Vicki) of Cottonport; and her grandchildren, Mike Lacombe, Amanda Guillory, Claire Schexnyder, Ben Michel, Logan Michel, Carlee Michel, Justin Chenevert, Jordan Woitas, Trevor Woitas and Macie Woitas. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church for masses to be said for the Michel Family.
