He was predeceased by: his parents, Emile Sr. Hegger and Ethel Ruth Hegger; and his sisters, Mary Ann and Cherrie Mae Hegger. He is survived by: his siblings, Marthann Johnson (Albert) of Cottonport, LA, Betty Thomas (Perry) of Moreauville, LA, Shirley Hegger of Cottonport, LA, Kenneth Hegger (Carolyn) of Moreauville, Emile Hegger (Lora) of Cottonport, LA, Ronnie Hegger of Cottonport, LA and Robert Hegger of Mellville, LA.. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Little Zion Baptist Church (307 S. Bayou De Glaise Rd., Cottonport, LA 71327). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
