He was predeceased by: his stepfather Sam Yander; and his stepbrother Buck Yander. He is survived by: his wife Crystal Firmin of Plaucheville; his children, Logan Broussard, Slade Tobias, Cameron Ruiz (Johnny), Macey Giovanetti (Alex), Riley Sproles (Jordan), Donnie Firmin, III and Isabella Firmin; his grandchildren, Canaan Tobias, Branson Giovanetti, Waylon Broussard, Colton Tobias, Addison Giovanetti, Bentleigh Sproles, Ryan Sproles and Cole Giovanetti; his parents, Don Firmin, Sr. and Annette Carriere Yander (Frankie Doyle); his brother Jacob Firmin; his nieces and nephews, Kayleah Miller (Adam), Kendalyn Firmin, Samantha Yander (Brandon), Briana Turk (Jack), Adam, Wyatt Firmin and Danton Beard (Desiree); and his sister-in-law Naomi Johnston (Brian). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his beloved work family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Escude Funeral Home (552 Front St, Cottonport, LA 71327). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
