It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl James Ducote Sr. of Cottonport, Louisiana, who passed away on May 23, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elster James and Rita Francois Ducote; and his sisters, Daisy Daigrepont, Joyce Larmeu and Faye Ann Ducote.
He is survived by: his children, Samantha Ducote (Walter Deville) of Pine Prairie and Carl Ducote, Jr.; his sisters, Mary Drouin of Hessmer, Mable LaCrouix of Evergreen and Jeanette Aymond Toureau of Hessmer; and his grandchildren, Gage Ducote, Kadence Ducote and Krislyn Lacombe.
