She was predeceased by: her grandson Jerry Mayeux; her parents, Louis Guillory and Nora Lemoine Guillory; and her siblings, Lettie Ducote and Bert Guillory.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Mayeux; her children, Geraldine Ducote (Shane), Gary Mayeux, Mike Mayeux (Linda), Ricky Mayeux (Melissa), Steve Mayeux (Rebecca) and Arthur Mayeux (Stacey); her brother Clyston Guillory; and her grandchildren, Joseph, Annie, Emily, Jacob, Farrah, Wesley, Linsley, Kaitlyn, Isaiah, Elizabeth, Cade, Colby, Reagan, Greg and Nick. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
